Originally from New Zealand, Mitta grew up singing the native Maori songs and dances.
She has traveled in various countries and studied in meditation centers around the world. Spiritually and health oriented, Mitta has been involved in several non profits, volunteering to help with people affected by AIDS and HIV, and has traveled to India with First Medicines providing post tsunami healing support. She is currently working with others in providing care and support for individuals and groups in India, in particular a group that helps children out of work bondage.
