There is no one size fits all!  That is why there are so many new weight loss plans available all the time.

Here are a few ideas that may help you get started. This is not a diet, simply one possible way to warm-up for the weight loss program you select.

**Remember to consult your physician before starting any weight loss program.

Many of our professional health care providers have suggested the following way to lose a few pounds. These few simple changes to your daily routine can make a huge difference. Following these strategies and continuing to do them on a daily basis may bring positive results.

1) Water, and more water. Drink at least 8 glasses of water each day.  Water lowers body fat, flushes cellulite, improves digestion, gets rid of dark circles under the eyes and makes you feet full. Our bodies are made up of 90% water so they run most efficiently when hydrated. Water also helps to flush toxins out of our body so that everything moves through more efficiently.

2) Take at least a 10 minute walk every day. Start with this and increase it later.  This will boost your metabolism and keep you active and relaxed.

3) Eat often in small portions. Eat every 3-4 hours, 6 small meals a day.  Meal portions (meat, veggies, and carbs), should be no larger than the palm of you hand and no thicker.

4) Eat Healthy.  There are many excellent books and online programs.  A typical meal should be a protein, a carbohydrate and a vegetable and fruit.

5) Nutrition  It’s important for you to keep your body fueled for the trip with healthy and sustaining foods.

Avoid fatty and sweet foods, which are empty in nutrition, in addition to making you prone to health risks and weight increase.

Include some raw and green food every day, which will provide you with all the necessary enzymes. These enzymes will not only sustain you, but also calm your nervous system.

6) Try not to miss meals—you don’t want to be fainting at important times!

Have you heard of this phrase: Your Body is Your Temple?

Look after it, treat it well and you will be rewarded with enough energy to do everything you need with a glowing radiance. Not to mention fitting into that dress!

There is no magic bullet…weight loss takes focus, planning and action.

Most of the weight loss programs work if you work them.
